Free SafeWork NSW seminar to explain workplace psychological risks
SafeWork NSW will hold a free online session for small business owners on 16 March 2027, explaining how to recognise and address workplace risks to psychological health.
The introductory session will run from 10 am to 11 am on Microsoft Teams. SafeWork NSW inspectors will explain how psychosocial hazards affect workers and how businesses can assess and address the risks.
Topics include business owners’ responsibilities, involving workers in discussions about psychological health, and changing how work is organised to reduce risks. Inspectors will also introduce free SafeWork NSW tools and resources.
The session is suitable for owners who are new to the topic or want to improve their existing approach. Attendance may help participants qualify for the $1,000 SafeWork small business rebate, but eligibility is not automatic.
